Instead of turning towards more rock and electronic oriented individuals the producers come from hip hop and R\u0026amp;B. \u003cstrong\u003eMalay\u003c\/strong\u003e who's worked with \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.sbs\/search?q=Frank+Ocean\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFrank Ocean\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.sbs\/search?q=Alicia+Keys\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAlicia Keys\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.sbs\/search?q=Big+Boi\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eBig Boi\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, and \u003cstrong\u003eJohn Hill\u003c\/strong\u003e who counts \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.sbs\/search?q=Rihanna\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eRihanna\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003eShakira\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/turntablelab.sbs\/search?q=M.I.A.\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eM.I.A.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e as past collaborators both contributed to the album. Despite the outside influence \u003ci\u003eNikki Nack\u003c\/i\u003e is a remarkably focused album. The playfulness of past efforts is intact while Garbus' innate confidence seems to have been bolstered. She does things with her voice that might catch you off guard at first but are ultimately endearing. \u003cstrong\u003eNate Brenner\u003c\/strong\u003e continues his role as as a bassist, synth player, and co-writer as well. Ultimately \u003ci\u003eNikki Nack\u003c\/i\u003e sounds like the collaboration of Garbus' imaginary friends turned outward for the world to experience.
